Solving problems has always been a passion of mine, this curiosity made learning and staying tuned for innovations something easy. Working professionally since 2010, I was able to shape myself according to the needs of the industry, always prioritizing results.
As a designer I need to understand requirements so that they can be translated in a graphic format. Therefore, I consider openness to different ideas and perspectives to be an extremely important quality in my profession.

Case - Starter Battery issues
During the covid pandemic, vehicles stood in garages for many months, which caused a degradation of the vehicle’s starter battery from lack of use. The app was not designed to support such cases and needed to inform the user on the issue and how to solve it.
A notification would be sent before the battery started to degrade, a new disclaimer and an alert were added in the app, they all would link to a page with information on how to solve the issue. Also, some app functions that could consume battery were deactivated in order to not aggravate the problem.
The UI changes were adapted to all variations: Combustion/electric vehicles, BMW/MINI and Light/Dark modes.
A session of user testing was prepared to investigate the following topics:
• Do the users understand that they cannot use some functions in the app?
• Do the users know why there are missing/disabled functions on the app?
• Can the user understand how to have the functions enabled again
• Is the copy and colors from the disclaimer giving the correct information?

Test results on a High Level:
• The notification is understandable and participants know what to do to get more information about the problem.
• Users relate the unavailability of the remote functions to the starter battery problem.
• Users don’t fully grasp what they need to do to solve the problem and expect to get more detailed information concerning a solution to get the functions back.
Action Points (Only copy changes):
• Make the information on what to do next.
• Clarify whether the starter or the vehicle battery has to be charged.
• Clarify that additional assistance is not required.
Case - Switching Vehicles via service alert
Users have the possibility to map more than 1 vehicle in their accounts, but the scheduling service process and notification system was set to display information related only to the current selected vehicle.
The goal was to make it possible for the users to still be notified of an issue from a vehicle that was not selected at the moment and schedule a service for that. But, due to backend limitations, to schedule a service from a notification the selected had to be switched in the background.
A user testing session was prepared to check any possible weak points in the process and investigate the following topics:
• Do users understand the pop up message?
• Do they noticed the vehicles have been switched?
• Can the user understand how to have the functions enabled again

• The entry point for notifications is easy to find.
• Users understand that the notification concerning the service appointment is for another car than the one currently selected in the garage.
• No action points needed.
UI Work Sample
Traceability System for industrial scale using QR Codes.
The main found issue was the existence of a large legacy system without any prior UX planning. Everything was remodeled in a fluid and direct way.
Login system integrated with other solutions from the company
UX and UI for a Framework for marketplaces. It was supposed to have an interface simple enough to be adaptable to various industrial segments with just few modifications. The goal was allowing different types of customers their own virtual space at little cost.
